01. Agreement and service scope

These terms apply to your use of the HelloHAM iOS app and related public-reference services provided by DY Mobile. Read these terms and our Privacy Policy before use. If you do not agree, you can stop using and uninstall the app. Personal-information consent and permissions follow applicable privacy disclosures, system authorization and law; using the app does not replace any separately required consent.

HelloHAM provides QSO logging, QSL image creation, ADIF import/export, offline repeater references, optional location/weather, satellite pass predictions, AR guidance and local backup tools. Basic tools do not require an account. Callsigns, nicknames and logs are self-entered and do not verify identity, qualifications, station licenses or mutual QSO confirmation.

02. Lawful radio use and safety

• Follow the radio, amateur-radio, equipment and frequency rules applicable where you operate. Before transmitting, obtain required qualifications and permissions and confirm bands, power, modes and station requirements.
• Published frequencies and parameters are references. Inclusion does not grant permission to transmit or certify equipment approval, station legality or current availability. Confirm with local authorities, maintainers or reliable sources.
• Do not impersonate others, falsify permissions or documents, transmit unlawfully, interfere, harass, invade privacy or otherwise act unlawfully.
• Prioritize driving and outdoor safety. Do not operate handheld while driving or allow maps, camera views or directions to compromise safety. Do not rely solely on this app for rescue, navigation or personal-safety decisions.

03. Limits of references, maps, predictions and AR

Repeater references can include historical information, parameters not field-verified and unknown operating status. Nearby results may use actual station coordinates or clearly identified approximate region coordinates. Region references are not actual station sites; distance is not radio coverage and record counts are not online-station counts.

Satellite predictions depend on orbit data and observer location. Orbits may expire; predictions do not include terrain obstruction or guarantee that satellite radio equipment is operational. AR depends on camera, motion and compass accuracy and magnetic interference, and cannot guarantee antenna alignment. Weather, location and altitude may be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Check timestamps and sources and use judgment in actual conditions.

04. Logs, QSL and data management

You retain applicable rights in content you create and are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter, import or share it. Respect other operators’ privacy, copyright and other rights. Avoid unnecessary precise location or personal details on public cards.

QSL images are cards generated from personal logs, not confirmation by the other operator or recognition by LoTW, eQSL or other platforms. ADIF enables general data exchange and does not indicate completed automatic synchronization or certification by external platforms.

Keep your own backups. Full-backup restoration replaces related local data; inspect files and save existing information first. Uninstallation, replacement, restoration or user actions can affect recovery. You manage exported files and copies held by recipients.

05. Free use and future versions

This release has no paid features or trial period. Creating and sharing QSL images is free and has no watermark. It requires no purchase, subscription or account and is not limited by a local first-use date.

If future versions introduce paid features or subscriptions, prices, features, duration and cancellation will be disclosed before purchase, with required agreement under applicable law and platform rules. This does not indicate that you have purchased or received a future paid service.

06. Third-party services and intellectual property

Apple Maps, Apple Weather, CelesTrak, SatNOGS, source websites and share/file/email services you choose have their own terms and privacy policies. HelloHAM does not promise their continuous availability or that they recognize your logs. Weather includes Apple Weather attribution and relevant legal information.

HelloHAM interfaces, name, software and related content are protected under applicable law. Rights in public-source content, third-party marks and open-source components remain with their respective rightsholders. Sources and open-source licenses are disclosed, and applicable license conditions govern their use. Do not copy, redistribute, modify or infringe rights beyond what law and applicable licenses permit.

07. Changes, responsibility and disputes

We may update the app or adjust online services for maintenance, source availability, system compatibility or security, and disclose material changes appropriately. We take reasonable steps to maintain service, but network queries, external references and predictions may be unavailable or inaccurate.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, references are provided as available. Responsibility for a specific outcome depends on the facts, fault and applicable law. These terms do not exclude legally non-excludable liability or limit statutory consumer rights.

Applicable law governs these terms. Contact our support email to try to resolve a dispute. Unresolved matters may be brought to authorities or courts with lawful jurisdiction. This does not displace mandatory protections under applicable law.

08. Contact and updates

Operator: DY Mobile. Service, privacy, reference-correction and rights requests: hihamer@163.com. You can use the subject “HelloHa App反馈”. Include app/iOS version, device model and reproduction steps, with only necessary screenshots after removing sensitive content.

We update the date when these terms change. Material changes to rights or obligations will be disclosed appropriately, and renewed agreement obtained where law requires.
